This time we had a 6 person Stromboli, each slice is similiar to a small Calzone, but more like a Philly Cheese Steak.
Games are on Tuesdays sometime around 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.
PART 1.
++++ START OF SESSION ++++
Early at the beginning we did not have a quorum so again we played Settlers of Catan, but modified the board to be Settlers of BlackMoor. The picture below shows a stylized version of Blackmoor using Settlers of Catan tiles. We used Seafarers of Catan as a border even though the area mostly bordered by land so it truncated the map edges.. I replaced the swampy area on the middle southwest with Desert since there are no swamp tiles. We used the rule Players had to start on the mainland in areas not separated by Desert or a small Island. The Egg of Coot, the Nomads of Ten, and the Regent of the Mines were given Gold Mine tiles. Other towns were given ports.
The 12 point winner was Red who had 4 cities, 2 towns, the longest road, an island victory point and a development card victory point. He also cut off Brown's attempted longest road in the middle and prevented Brown from getting it.
