Last I saw, Whittaker regenerated into Tennant But all-in-all, the three episodes were better than the whole of Chibnall's run.

Yup. Yup. Yup.

I actually really liked Whittaker as the Doctor but hated the writing. I also complained heavily about Moffat but mostly because he ruined so many wonderful things by explaining every minutiae, in effect neutering things.

Gatwa seems fine but I'm surprised at Davies writing because I loved the two Rose seasons and the Donna season. Not a huge fan of the Martha season although I liked the character. I would say this most recent season wasn't bad but also wasn't overly memorable.
