Spell Number: Equal to the cumulative CP required to achieve Rank:
1 - 1
2 - 2
3 - 3
4 - 5
5 - 7
6 - 10
7 - 13
8 - 17
9 - 22
10 - 29
11 - 39

The numbers given above are the Spell Bases to create a staff regardless of the Race of the character trying to create the staff. If someone decided to spend the extra 19 CP to take a Dwarf or Half-ogre all the way to 11th Rank in Sorcerer, the Spell Base to create an 11th Rank staff would still be 39.
