Tracy's HackMoor Campaign 2016/09/01
Games are on Thursday night sometime after 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.

This time we had a meatlover's pizza with pepperoni removed.

Before the session started, I took a moment to indicate the campaign has entered a new phase.  There MAY be times where the party can lose experience points for errors in judgment.

When we left off from last week the party was leaving the Temple vestibule and avoided shooting down a friendly owl, that had been monitoring their progress and mentioned previously, reports to Otis the Blacksmith.  That would have been friendly fire.

Also upon leaving the Temple, there was a small earthquake and the runes on the busted Temple doors started glowing again but faded shortly thereafter.

If you missed last week the party was prohibited from entering the Temple proper due to a forbiddance spell.  Failing to find any other method of ingress, they decided to look elsewhere and went for the broken tower at the edge of the Temple grounds.  To get an idea of the size of the Temple, the building was as big as the village of Nulb and the Temple grounds were as big as the distance to the village's outlying houses.

When they got near to the tower, about a hundred yards or so, a pair of blackbirds became disturbed and flew off from the remains of the roof.  Jacko took a potshot at one of them with his crossbow and missed.  However this activitity woke up the colony of 28 Giant Rooks nesting therein.  They came in two waves of 14.  Giant Rooks are considered Medium sized opponents with an eight foot wingspan.

Suffice it to say the party defeated them so I won't dwell on it.  Mostly with an area effect weapon (a hand blaster from an earlier adventure) wielded by Elefus.  One of the Monks (Sum Dum Gai?) made a critical hit.  Another made a fumble and dropped his weapon, unusual since he was only using his fists.

With all the fallen fowl, the party decided to have barbecue and camp outside for the night.  (And who got the job of plucking?)
