Dark Horse Comics releases comic book exploring how to prevent and prepare for Northwest wildfires

Wed, 12/15/2021 - 19:41

SALEM, Ore., (December 15, 2021)—The Oregon Office of Emergency Management and Dark Horse Comics have released a new comic book titled, Without Warning! Wildfire. Addressing what to do before and during a Northwest wildfire, the comic is third in a series of educational and entertaining comic books promoting emergency preparedness.

“The Without Warning! comic book series began because we found that many public education publications struggled to resonate with younger audiences,” said Althea Rizzo, OEM Geologic Hazards Program Coordinator. “The series has been a huge hit, helping us engage with youth while introducing and reinforcing the concept of readiness.”

Emergencies and disasters can happen at any time, often without warning. Empowering every Oregonian – including youth – to reduce their risk, be ready, and know what to do when disaster strikes is critical to staying safe. Kids and teens who are prepared often experience less anxiety and feel more confident during actual emergencies and disasters.

“Smokey Bear offers a variety of educational options for young children, but it’s been challenging to find engaging and creative resources to talk with teens and young adults about wildfire prevention,” said Kristin Babbs, President and CEO of the Keep Oregon Green Association. “This comic book fills that important gap.”

Without Warning! Wildfire features characters hiking and camping in a Northwest wilderness area who are forced to flee for their lives to escape a quickly moving wildfire. The comic helps teach readers how to protect themselves, their loved ones and wildlands when wildfires occur.

Without Warning! Wildfire is available to read for free at Dark Horse DigitalOEM’s website, and on iOS and Android apps. It is also available on Kindle, Comixology, Google Play and Apple Books. Printed copies are available in English and Spanish through county emergency management offices, Clackamas Community College and Keep Oregon Green.

The first two comics in the series, Without Warning! Earthquake (published in 2014) and Without Warning! Tsunami (published in 2016), have been distributed throughout the Northwest and adapted for other regions, helping support readiness in communities across the U.S.

The comic book series originated with OEM’s GeoHazards program, which works with partners to create tools and programs to make Oregon more resilient to earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes. This latest issue was produced in collaboration with OEM, Dark Horse Comics, Clackamas Community College, Oregon Dept. of Forestry and Keep Oregon Green.

A Spooky Legend Comes to Life in Queer YA Graphic Novel HOLLOW from LUMBERJANES Co-Creator

Wed, 12/15/2021 - 19:39

Discover a Brand New Original Graphic Novel from an All-Star Creative Team in September 2022

Credit: Naomi Franquiz

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 15, 2021) –  BOOM! Studios announced today a brand new original graphic novel, HOLLOW. From Shannon Watters, the co-creator of the bestselling worldwide phenomenon Lumberjanes, and co-writer debut author Branden Boyer-White, rising star artist Berenice Nelle (Wanderlicht), and colorist Kaitlyn Musto (Specter Inspectors), comes a supernatural queer romance and adventure set in the infamous town of Sleepy Hollow, available in September 2022.

Isabel “Izzy” Crane and her family have just relocated to Sleepy Hollow, the town made famous by—and obsessed with—Washington Irving’s legend of the Headless Horseman. But city slicker-skeptic Izzy has no time for superstition as she navigates life at a new address, a new school, and, with any luck, with new friends. Ghost stories aren’t real, after all….

Then Izzy is pulled into the orbit of the town’s teen royalty, Vicky Van Tassel (yes, that Van Tassel) and loveable varsity-level prankster Croc Byun. Vicky’s weariness with her family connection to the legend turns to terror when the trio begins to be haunted by the Horseman himself, uncovering a curse set on destroying the Van Tassel line. Now, they have only until Halloween night to break it—meaning it’s a totally inconvenient time for Izzy to develop a massive crush on the enigmatic Vicky.

Can Izzy’s practical nature help her face the unknown—or only trip her up? As the calendar runs down to the 31st, Izzy will have to use all of her wits and work with her new friends to save Vicky and uncover the mystery of the legendary Horseman of Sleepy Hollow—before it’s too late.

Shannon Watters is the co-creator and co-writer of the award-winning hit comic book series Lumberjanes. She is also the former head of BOOM! Box, the BOOM! Studios imprint behind critically acclaimed comics and graphic novels such as Giant Days, The Backstagers, Lumberjanes, Fence, Goldie Vance, Heavy Vinyl, and more.

HOLLOW is the queer-teen-love-story meets spooky-goofball-supernatural-caper that my Scooby-Doo-ifed young self had wished existed. Writing HOLLOW with Branden was the best part of last year, and seeing it come to life at the extraordinary hands of Berenice and Kaitlyn has easily been the best part of 2021,” said Watters.

Branden Boyer-White is an award-winning fiction writer with an MFA from Arizona State University. HOLLOW is her first venture into writing for graphic storytelling, a form she’s since fallen in love with.

“I’ve always been a collector of ghost stories, and the legend of the Headless Horseman is one of my favorites,” said Boyer-White. “It’s a dream come true to add our link in the chain of The Horseman’s spirited legacy, and we can’t wait for readers to take this fun, eerie ride through our twist on the tale.”

Berenice Nelle is an illustrator and comic artist from Germany, who is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in illustration at the HAW Hamburg. After taking part in multiple group exhibitions in Berlin and Hamburg in the past, she has begun to focus on comics. Since then, she has started publishing her original graphic novel and ongoing webcomic Wanderlicht under her alias, Neberias, before joining the team to work on HOLLOW.

“I’m excited for you to meet these absolutely lovable characters and dive into this magical and spooky world that Shannon and Branden have built in HOLLOW. I enjoyed illustrating our heroes just as much as I enjoyed laughing, spending time and feeling with them during their adventure,” said Nelle.

HOLLOW features cover art by acclaimed artist Naomi Franquiz (Proctor Valley Road).

“Shannon has proven time and again that there is an audience for queer, diverse, interesting stories for readers of every stripe. With her work on bestselling and widely acclaimed series, she has truly broken down barriers and proven that comics are for everyone,” said Sophie Philips-Roberts, Editor, BOOM! Studios. “So it’s an absolute honor to be working with her, Branden, Berenice, and Kaitlyn to bring their vision of a modern queer Legend of Sleepy Hollow to life, and we can’t wait to share the laughs, tears, romance, action, and ALL the scares with delighted fans worldwide.”

HOLLOW is the latest release from BOOM! Studios’ award-winning BOOM! Box imprint, home to groundbreaking original series such as Lumberjanes by Shannon Watters, Grace Ellis, Brooklyn Allen, and Noelle Stevenson; Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera and Celia Moscote; Giant Days by John Allison, Lissa Treiman, and Max Sarin; Buckhead by Shobo and George Kambadais; Mamo by Sas Milledge; Save Yourself! by Bones Leopard and Kelly and Nichole Matthews; Specter Inspectors by Bowen McCurdy and Kaitlyn Musto; The Last Witch by Conor McCreery and V.V. Glass; Ghosted in LA by Sina Grace and Siobhan Keenan; The Avant-Guards by Carly Usdin and Noah Hayes; Fence by C.S. Pacat and Johanna the Mad; Goldie Vance by Hope Larson and Brittney Williams; Misfit City by Kirsten Smith, Kurt Lustgarten, and Naomi Franquiz; and educational series Seen: True Stories of Marginalized Trailblazers.

Print copies of HOLLOW will be available for sale in September 2022 at local comic book shops (use to find the nearest one), bookstores, or at the BOOM! Studios webstore. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Kindle.

New CARNAGE ongoing series launches this March

New York, NY— December 15, 2021 — The killer celebration for Carnage’s 30th anniversary is just beginning! In the aftermath of CARNAGE FOREVER, a mayhem-filled anthology one-shot on sale in February, comes an all-new ongoing series for Marvel’s most terrifying villain! Writer Ram V and artist Francesco Manna will kick off this visceral new chapter for the character in March’s CARNAGE #1. Already reinventing the symbiote mythos over in hit new VENOM series, Ram V’s thought-provoking work will now spill over into this all new ongoing series starring Venom’s most notorious offspring. And known for his masterful approach to brutal action on titles such as TRIALS OF ULTRAMAN and OLD MAN LOGAN, Franceso Manna’s dynamic art will make this one symbiote story you cannot afford to miss!

The new series will see the Carnage symbiote seeking a new bond after separating from longtime host Cletus Kasady. The two were the most notorious and prolific serial killers in the Marvel Universe but after the events of EXTREME CARNAGE, Cletus’ codex has found a new home, leaving the Carnage symbiote adrift, alone… and deadlier than ever before!

“This Carnage story is very likely to become the most twisted thing I’ve written,” Ram V promises. “The killer symbiote has gone through some pretty significant changes in recent times and I’ve been left with an opportunity to do something new and inventive with the character and the kind of stories you might expect to find in a Carnage book. This is my kind of horror– as frightening in its implications as it is on the page. This is a devilish, scary Carnage and he’s setting out to discover just where the bounds of his abilities really lie. Pity those caught in his wake. The Marvel Universe is not ready for what Carnage is turning into.”

Be there when Carnage slashes his way through a new era in CARNAGE #1 on March 2!

Treasury of British Comics announces 2022 schedule

Wed, 12/15/2021 - 15:47

From long lost classics to new adventures – Rebellion is proud to announce the full schedule of Treasury of British Comics graphic novel titles for 2022!

Acclaimed by critics and readers, the Treasury of British Comics is bringing classics from the world’s largest archive of English language comic books back into print, and also reinventing some of the world’s most thrilling and enthralling characters for new generations.

The schedule for 2022 includes never-before-reprinted classics, as well as new volumes in on-going series, and old and new takes on legendary titles.

These collections will be available from all good book and comic book stores, as well as online retailers, and digitally from the Treasury of British Comics webshop and the 2000 AD app.

Lovingly restored by Rebellion’s in-house reprographics team, the schedule includes the best of boys’ comics with two volumes of historical adventure Karl the Viking (January and December) featuring stunning black and white art by Trigan Empire artist Don Lawrence, war action with The Sarge by Gerry Finley-Day and Mike Western from the legendary and groundbreaking Battle, and the second volume of one of Britain’s most enduring comic book heroes, The Steel Claw (November), reprinted from the pages of Valiant for the first time and featuring the stunning art of Spanish comics’ legend Jesus Blasco.

The bestselling reprint of The Rise and Fall of The Trigan Empire by Mike Butterworth and Don Lawerence continues in May, with the much-in-demand first collection of House of Dolmann (April), which see a ventriloquist use an army of puppets to help the forces of law and order fight back against crime, while the Super Picture Thriller misadventures of the maniacal super-thief The Spider are collected in Crime Unlimited (February).

And there’s hi-jinx and comedy in Trevor Metcalfe’s madcap parody of the 1960s Batman TV show, Birdman and Chicken (March), and Leo Baxendale’s much-anticipated series Badtime Bedtime Stories (September) from the pages of Monster Fun.

The legacy of classic characters continues in brand new collections that combine the old and the new. The Best of Cat Girl (August) collects stories of this beloved UK superhero from the pages of classic 1960s girls’ comic Sally, and ‘Cat Girl Returns’ by RAMZEE (Zorse) and Elkys Nova (Roy of the Rovers). And Black Beth: Vengeance Be Thy Name (June) brings together both the ‘lost’ story of this fearsome fantasy warrior created by an unknown writer and Spanish artist Blas Gallego, but also the brilliantly resurrected new stories from writer Alec Worley (Star Wars) and DC Comic’s newest artistic star, DaNi (Coffin Bound).

Karl the Viking

Originally serialised in LionKarl the Viking is a sweeping historical fantasy story of an orphaned Saxon boy, adopted and raised by the viking Eingar after his raid on Britain. Upon coming of age Karl succeeds Eingar and leads his tribe into battle in Britain against wild tribes of Picts, and re-connects with his old Saxon family, gaining an ally in his cousin Godwulf, and making an enemy of the Earl of Eastumbria. These fast-paced stories were drawn by Don Lawrence shortly before he revolutionised painted comic art with The Trigan Empire, when he was already a master of pen and ink, and his Karl the Viking series was the pinnacle of black and white comic art.

REVIEW CORNER: Untold Tales of Spider-Man # 17

Wed, 12/15/2021 - 15:37

Untold Tales of Spider-Man # 17
Writer: Kurt Busiek
Penciller: Pat Olliffe
Inker: Al Williamson
Letterer: Richard Starkings & Comicraft
Colorist: Steve Mattsson
Cover Date: January 1997
This week, with the latest Hawkeye episode out (and this one could break the internet), I’ll take a look at Untold Tales of Spider-Man # 17 which features a never-before-told battle between Spider-Man and the famed marksman himself, which I can presume to take place after Hawkeye and The Black Widow’s battle with Iron Man in “Tales of Suspense # 57 which is Hawkeye’s very first appearance.

Seeing Hawkeye and Black Widow before they joined the Avengers, not to mention coming to blows with Spider-Man himself, is an interesting premise seeing as how Clint Barton is an outlaw and is having a tough time standing beside Natasha Romanoff (Who he found out is a foreign spy) and being him own man and doing right. I like that Hawkeye’s eternal struggle becomes the foundation for this issue, and the action sequences between him and Spidey are top-notch. Throughout this series, Kurt Busiek has shown a ton of respect and love for the silver age era of The Marvel Universe and his handling of Hawkeye really elevated this issue. Meanwhile, Pat Olliffe’s artwork shines, as usual, with elements of both Steve Ditko and John Romita Sr. mixed into complete perfection; it’s also a joy to see Al Williamson’s inks bring it to life (Although I do miss the inking styles of both Al Vey and Pam Eklund)

The early days of Hawkeye are such a blast to read because we got to see how he started to where he would eventually end up down the road, and this issue should be a must-have for anyone getting into the Disney+ series.

Well, that’s it for me this week. Thanks for sticking around and I will see you all next time.

Lee Durfey-Lavoie and Veronica Agarwal’s JUST ROLL WITH IT

Fri, 12/10/2021 - 06:18

Is a Powerful and Playful Graphic Novel about Anxiety, OCD, RPGs, and Surviving School

Random House Graphic to Publish A Charming Graphic Novel For Everyone Who’s Ever Had A Complicated Relationship With Their Twenty-Sided Die

(December 9, 2021) Starting middle school is hard enough when you don’t know anyone; it’s even harder when you’re shy and anxious. Maggie just wants to get through her first year of middle school unscathed, but between finding the best after-school clubs, trying to make friends, and avoiding the rumored monster on school grounds, she’s having a tough time… And when she gets nervous, Maggie turns to her twenty-sided die. As long as Maggie rolls the right number, nothing can go wrong… or so she thinks. But what happens if Maggie rolls the wrong number?

JUST ROLL WITH IT is the debut graphic novel from writer Lee Durfey-Lavoie and the second graphic novel from artist Veronica Agarwal. Perfect for fans of Guts and Real Friends, JUST ROLL WITH IT is a touching story that explores the complexity of anxiety, OCD, and learning to trust yourself and the world around you.

“JUST ROLL WITH IT aims to open a dialogue about mental health for young readers and give them some terminology to help navigate talking about it,” said Veronica Agarwal. “I was inspired by Svetlana Chmakova’s ‘Berry Brook Middle School’ series (Awkward / Brave / Crush) that highlights issues kids deal with but doesn’t belittle them. I wanted this story to be something that shows how a lot of us live alongside our anxiety, and that the end goal of one’s mental health journey doesn’t have to be ‘fixing’ yourself, but rather becoming the best version of you, anxiety and all.”

“It was important for us to reflect the world we live in—from diversity of body size, race, sexuality, etc, to diversity of how we take in the world around us,” said Lee Durfey-Lavoie. “We wanted to make characters that were serious, goofy, afraid, silly, and who reflected all the wacky and wonderful aspects of being in middle school. We wanted the book to reflect our own experience: that mental illness can be scary and difficult, but it isn’t insurmountable, and the ones you love can help you through it.”

It’s the holiday season and Jayne’s selfish behavior receives the unwanted attention of three visiting spirits who reveal the hidden past, present and future of Serenity’s most…miserly crew member. A beloved character returns as the Ghost of Firefly Past, while a fellow crew member guides Jayne through the here and now, showing the consequences of his actions in the present. Prepare for more fantasy-skewering ultra-violent hilarity, muffin huggers, at Young’s Stupid Fresh Mess Substack on 12/9

The Unbelievable, Unfortunately Mostly Unreadable and Nearly Unpublishable Untold Tales of I Hate Fairyland by Fábio Moon & Gabriel Bá

Kansas City, MO—Following his 20-issue run on I HATE FAIRYLAND at Image Comics, acclaimed Eisner-winning cartoonist Skottie Young is opening the borders of his whimsical fantasy universe for new writers and artists to wreak havoc. Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá, the acclaimed fraternal artists behind The Umbrella Academy and the creative team of Daytripper and Two Brothers, join a line of creators with their new contribution, “I Hate Gert!”—a six-page descent into madness exploring some of the mythos’ most quirky foes.

This chapter headlines just one of many guest-created comics in a new monthly series called The Unbelievable, Unfortunately Mostly Unreadable and Nearly Unpublishable Untold Tales of I Hate Fairyland—debuting exclusively for free on Young’s Substack Newsletter, Stupid Fresh Mess. These mini-comics pave the road to Young’s relaunch of I HATE FAIRYLAND at Image Comics, debuting with a new first issue in July written by Young with art from Brett Parson.

These stories further explore the comically inept, bloody journey of Gert—a young girl sucked into a world of eccentric fairy tale conventions building on the legacies of L. Frank Baum, C.S. Lewis, Lewis Carroll, and beyond. Upon failing to reach home over more than two decades, Gert (stuck in her 6-year-old body) wages a one-“child” war on her new home with a very, very large axe, aided by her exhausted bug guide, Larry.

“After a few years away from Gert and the gang, I was starting to miss the energy of I HATE FAIRYLAND and the stories I could tell only in that universe,” Young explains. “I thought it was time to bring it back, but not only continue Gert’s ongoing saga, but also introduce short stories that fill in the many gaps in all the years she’s been in Fairyland. So I decided to reach out to some of my awesome cartoonist pals and invite them to join in on the fun.”

“Reading I HATE FAIRYLAND, I felt like the kid who grew up reading Sergio Aragonés’ Groo and MAD Magazine‘s ‘Spy vs. Spy’ all over again,” Moon explains. “Gert is just the perfect character to surprise the reader with absurd stories, and the ever-growing cast of supporting characters inspired us to imagine a story in this universe.”

“There was something about the ‘everything goes’ fantasy setting of the story that we felt we could explore creatively in our work in ways that we usually can’t,” Bá continues. “We could swap roles and combine roles while doing this—ink each other’s pencils, or color each other’s pages, have fun while doing it, and create a story that’s the fusion of both our visual styles and different from everything we’ve done before.”

“Fabio and Gabriel are two of my favorite people on the planet, outside of their insane amount of talent. Now, not only do I get to call them friends, but collaborators. It really is surreal to think these two geniuses jumped into my I HATE FAIRYLANDsandbox and started causing havoc. I’m the luckiest cartoonist in the world,” Young says.

The Unbelievable, Unfortunately Mostly Unreadable and Nearly Unpublishable Untold Tales of I Hate Fairyland, “I Hate Gert” will be available on the Stupid Fresh Mess Substack Newsletter on 12/9. The monthly subscription tier includes such rewards as digital art books, live stream access, art process videos, creator commentary,  and access to giveaways and contests. The annual subscription tier include all monthly perks plus a physical copy of The Untold Tales of I Hate Fairyland, releasing in 2022.

THE WRONG EARTH World-Shattering Special Event

Thu, 12/09/2021 - 19:19

Gail Simone, Mark Waid, Mark Russell, and Stuart Moore Join Tom Peyer to Write THE WRONG EARTH World-Shattering Special Event Comics for AHOY Comics

Featuring Always Amazing Art by Bill Morrison, Walter Geovani, Michael Montenat, Fred Harper, Leonard Kirk, and Greg Scott

With Covers by THE WRONG EARTH Co-Creator Jamal Igle

and Variants Covers by Gene Ha, Dan Parent, Jerry Ordway, and More

(December 9, 2021) Bestselling writers Gail Simone (Red Sonja) and Mark Waid (History of the Marvel Universe) are joining AHOY Comics Editor-in-Chief Tom Peyer, Second Coming writer Mark Russell, and Captain Ginger writer Stuart Moore to write world-shattering, money-grabbing, stand-alone THE WRONG EARTH specials for AHOY Comics. These comics will feature art by Bill Morrison, Walter Geovani, Michael Montenat, Fred Harper, Leonard Kirk, and Greg Scott, with covers by THE WRONG EARTH co-creator and artist Jamal Igle. Each special will have a variant cover by Gene Ha; there will also be  variant covers by Dan Parent, Jerry Ordway, and other artists. The multiverse-spanning monthly event will begin in March with the release of THE WRONG EARTH: TRAPPED ON TEEN PLANET #1, written by Gail Simone, with art by Bill Morrison, Walter Geovani, and Rob Lean, with colors by Andy Troy, and lettering by Rob Steen.

“Words will be written, words will be deleted, and nothing will ever be the same,” said AHOY Comics Editor-in-Chief and THE WRONG EARTH co-creator Tom Peyer. “This is Crisis on Infinite Earths, minus the line-wide consequences that made it interesting. This is Secret Wars without toys. This is the kind of epic, superheroic storytelling that publishers and CFOs love, where the tail of wealth-enhancing variant covers wags the dog of art.”

Each of THE WRONG EARTH world-shattering special event one-shots will present a stand-alone, 25-page story that expands on the multiverse first introduced in AHOY Comics’ flagship title by Peyer and Igle, wherein the campy Dragonflyman of Earth Alpha switched places with the gritty Dragonfly of Earth Omega and chaos ensued.

The first issue to hit stores, THE WRONG EARTH: TRAPPED ON TEEN PLANET #1, finds grim-and-gritty vigilante Dragonfly whisked to an Earth of teenagers, malt shops, love triangles, and nonstop jokes. Will they win him over—or will his violent methods infect their world? The issue is illustrated by Bill Morrison (The Simpsons), Walter Geovani (Red Sonja/ Tarzan), and Rob Lean (Smallville: Alien), with colors by Andy Troy, and lettering by Rob Steen. THE WRONG EARTH: TRAPPED ON TEEN PLANET #1 will feature variant covers by both Gene Ha (Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons) and Dan Parent (Veronica). The issue marks the AHOY Comics debut of legendary writer Gail Simone.

“Tom Peyer and Jamal Igle created a clever premise with THE WRONG EARTH that is a deeply satisfying read. All it needed were more redheads,” said Simone. “Our story is about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town, including an earnest ginger, who is sort of in love with two girls. From a distance, this town presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world: safe, decent, innocent. Get closer, though, and you start seeing the shadows, specifically the long, dark shadow of the Dragonfly.”

THE WRONG EARTH world-shattering special event continues in subsequent months with:

  • THE WRONG EARTH: FAME & FORTUNE #1 from writer Mark Russell, artist Michael Montenat, colorist Andy Troy, and letterer Rob Steen. On sale in April, this comic from the writer of Billionaire Island provides a satirical look at two different versions of Richard Fame and how, despite the best and worst intentions, huge gobs of money determine their own results.

  • THE WRONG EARTH: PURPLE #1 from writer Stuart Moore, artist Fred Harper, and letterer Rob Steen. On sale in May, this one-shot introduces Earth-Kappa, a dark but glossy world of big hair, shoulder pads, Wall Street traders, rubber super-suits, and funk music. Get the funk up!

  • THE WRONG EARTH: CONFIDENCE MEN #1 by writer Mark Waid, artist Leonard Kirk, and letterer Rob Steen. On sale in June, it’s the tale of two sidekicks! On campy Earth-Alpha, circumstances force kid sidekick Stinger to become Dragonflyman’s mentor! On gritty Earth-Omega, Dragonfly and Stinger go to war—against each other!

  • THE WRONG EARTH: MEAT #1 from writer Tom Peyer, artist Greg Scott, and letterer Rob Steen, on sale in July. On campy Earth-Alpha, Dragonflyman and Stinger follow clues to foil the beef-themed crimes of Dr. Meat. On gritty Earth Omega, a tragedy compels Dragonfly to imprison a criminal in an abandoned slaughterhouse—just to have someone to talk to.

“There’s never been a better time to discover THE WRONG EARTH,” said Igle. “Read these fan favorite comics now, before they’re discovered by a Hollywood executive who divides fandom forever by releasing a barely coherent film, with at least two directors and four screenwriters attached.”

THE WRONG EARTH: TRAPPED ON TEEN PLANET #1, will debut on March 2. For more information, follow AHOY Comics on Twitter and Facebook, and subscribe to the AHOY newsletter.
